LEGACY: Count your Blessings (Chapter 1: Generation 1)

Hi!  My name is Luna Eve Blessing.  I am seventeen years old and I ran away from home.  Why?  I figure you'll want to know.  It's because my dad took off on my mom and she turned to drugs for happiness.  She didn't even notice if I was around or not.  It was a toxic environment for me, and at this point, I just want to be on my own.  I was pretty much on my own anyway.

My grandma died, I was heartbroken, but she had left me a little bit of money.  I decided to go ahead and buy this piece of land, and start from scratch!  I bought some other things, like a grill, a big tent that I basically live out of.  I have a couple of camping chairs, my yoga mat, my tablet and camera, oh and my cooler!

There are probably a few things I'm forgetting.  Like my portable shower!  I have to pee in a bush, but...  I mean - you gotta do, whatcha gotta do!

I am a senior in highschool, and I'm just hoping to graduate the great student I've been.   I have an uncle that has a construction company.  He has made the offer to come help me build a house, when I'm ready for it, for the cost of materials.  I am going to hold him to that!   But for right now, it's just me and my tent.

Oh ... I almost forgot my art easel ... the horse shoe pit was here.  I think I might learn to play!  The picnic table was here also.  I just moved it.  I think the property might have been a park in the past, but I'm not sure.  I didn't ask questions.  They didn't realize they were selling to a minor and I wasn't going to question things and possibly have it come to their attention.

It works for me, at least for now, and I actually like camping!!  SO this will be fun!

I am really focused on getting good grade and graduating.

Such a great view!  I think I did really good.

This is a new town, new start, I don't know anyone here. It gets really lonely, I realized. I'm trying to make friends.  I met this guy on the beach just beyond my property one day.  I was out walking around looking for fruits and vegetables, something I could eat.  I mean I have yogurt, granola, and cereal - keeping the cool stuff in my cooler, but I'm really hungry!

Anyway - he seemed nice enough.  Too bad I don't remember his name.

I started noticing these rocks around and thought - maybe - if I dig them up, I can uncover something that could make me a few bicks.

I was really thirsty when I got home from that long walk around the area.

I had also managed to stop at a little mom & pop joint and bought some hot dogs from their store, I probably shouldn't have grilled them all up, but I'm not used to having to fend for myself.

I decided to try my hand at horse shoes while I ate.  It was kinda fun.

I wanted a nice shower before I went to bed.  I had been out walking and sweating all day, and school was starting for me in the morning.

I got a good night sleep, I got up before the sun, had some yogurt and then....

Decided to center myself with some yoga before school.

I was still doing my routine as the sun rose around me.  It was pretty beautiful.

The first day of school was rough.  It seemed like everyone knew everyone else and no one cared to get to know the new girl.  It was rough.  When I got back home, I dished up some yogurt.

And then I painted because I just wasn't that tired.

I really hope that school gets better from here.  I'm kinda scared now.
