Boyd Oh' Boyd .... Introduction ...

Hi ...... my name is Ophelia ...... everyone calls me Ophie ... you can if you want I suppose.

I have one of those families......... you know, THOSE families that have dirty little secrets and skeletons in the closets ... but......  I don't care.  I live my life honestly and I don't hold anything back.  At least, that's what I'm going to start doing....

So let me tell you a little story ...  before I introduce you to my family .....

When I was born, I had two amazing parents.  Only, in the town we lived in, they passed a law that teenagers couldn't raise kids.  See, my Mom and Dad were barely in highschool and sweethearts and my mom was 14 .... her parents kicked her out and she came to live with my grandparents.  No one really knew about this law until we were born and when the hospital staff came in after we were born and confronted my mother, my grandmother happened to be there.  They said they were sorry but they had to take us away from her since she was a teenager and (gasp) ... unmarried.   So my Grandmother stood up and said they weren't taking us anywhere.... her and my grandfather would raise us if need be.

Legally - our grandparents adopted us and they are technically our parents.  However, we were never really raised that way.  We have always known that our parents are, indeed, our parents....  and our grandparents are our grandparents.

Before long we moved out of that town and into a small close knit community that we grew up in and love.

This is my Grandfather .... his name is Ordell Edward Boyd.  He is a kind and caring man.  I've always looked up to him, and been close to him.  He worked his way through medical school and up the ladder at the hospital - he is now the leading surgeon in cardiology.  He fixes hearts.   He went to Fort Starch Military School and to Llama University.  He loves dogs, especially ours, and he likes to fish whenever he gets a chance.  He's always been a super good cook, too.  And he doesn't complain about cleaning up after anyone, infact, he's a little anal about it.  Plus, he really loves his family.

My Grandmother's name is Opie Rose Boyd.  She was born Zangermyer, and always laughs about how Boyd is a better and easier last name. She was a teacher, then a Principal and now she's the District Superintendent.  She went to the Highschool of Peace and Love and graduated from it.  She met my Grandpa in College at Llama University.   She loves to garden, and she loves to paint...  she loves animals and the outdoors.  Plus, she loves her family.  She has to in order to do what she did.  Take on triplets?? WOW!

 Oh, didn't I mention and we're triplets?  Ha ...  well....  you'll see.

This is my dad Oliver, after the whole pregnancy thing, he left the highschool he was going to and went to boarding school at Dribbledine Sports Academy.  My grandparents took care of us while both my parents finished highschool at different boarding schools.  They thought it was extremely important.   My dad is super athletic, he loves to go running with our dog because he's a dog person like my Grandpa.  Neither of them care for cats or horses or other animals much.  He got his natural cooking skills from my grandpa too and also his OCD about everything being clean.  He's always been a great dad though, he loves his family.

My mom is Caitlyn.  Eventually her and my father got married. After my mom got her diploma from the community school for the Gifted, she and my Dad both went on to the police academy.  My Dad is a Undercover Specialist and my mom is a Crime Scene Technician.  Trust me when they come home with some very entertaining and disturbing stories.  My mom is just like my Grandma.  She's artistic, she likes to help my Grandma in the garden a lot, she loves all kinds of animals, she loves her family and most of all, my Dad says she's a fantastic kisser.

Then there is us....  in order of birth there is my brother Owen Edward ... we've been told all our lives he's always been the first at everything, the most rebellious.  He's always been the trouble maker.  Staying out after curfew, egging the neighbor...  he'd try to talk Livvy and I into his crazy plans, but we were both good girls.  Owen still takes after my Dad and Grandpa though, with a little of my Mom in him...   He is a natural cook and neat ... but he's an animal lover and a great kisser - so we hear from every girl he's ever dated.  He's also Ambitious though - he wants to succeed ....

My sister Olivia Marie...... We call her Livvy.  She's a very easy going girl, like I am.  But she has this insane interest and talent at art, even being avant garde .... She's ambitious and loves animals.  She talks about having a family some day - but she says she won't be doing it like me.  Ha!!
Both Owen and Livvy have black hair like my Dad, Owen has dark blue eyes, Livvy has light blue eyes. And somehow I got the red hair and gray eyes of my mother.   Otherwise, we're told you couldn't tell us apart when we were little.  I mean, besides Owen having boy parts.  I guess when we were bald little babies, they had to paint Livvy's and my nails different colors to tell who was who.  But once we got hair, it was easy enough.  Livvy and I are almost identical, the only difference really is our eye and hair colors.
But I was last to be born, here I am.... Ophelia Rose.  I'm named after my Grandmother.... I guess I was smaller than Owen and Livvy and I came out not breathing.  I had to stay in the hospital longer than either one of my siblings, and I was always more fragile as a child, and sickly.  But alas, I am fit and super healthy now.  I love to make friends, I'm a total people person.  Of course, that isn't always a good thing.  I'm a genius, I spent so much time studying that I ended up testing out of a lot of my highschool classes.   Oh, right, one of the toughest times of our lives is when Livvy and I went to the Gifted highschool and my parents and grandparents decided to send Owen to Military school cuz of his rebelliousness.  It was hard being separated  especially thinking of Owen being there alone. But we survived.  We're all so ambitious.  We all love Animals.  And we all love and want families.  But I'm not into art like my sister.  I am a definite bookwork.  I spent a lot of my teenage years with my face in a book.  But then something silly happened, after a highschool party that I had been invited to - cuz I have always been super popular.... even though I'm a total geek, it seems people have always just been drawn to me and being my friend.  My siblings are the same way but it just seems to be more so in my case.  Anyway, I left this party and as I was crossing through the big park by our house, some guy came up behind me and dragged me into a hay bail, he then... well... had his way with me, and needless to say ... I found out I was pregnant.  And like my mother, I became a teenage mother.
I named her Braelynn Rae, and she is one super smart little cookie.  She reminds me a lot of me at her age, all bookwormy and ambitious.... and she seems to have my genius trait too.  She sails through her homework, like it's not even a struggle.  I love my daughter so much.

I will miss her horribly when Owen, Livvy and I go off to college this year.  We've all graduated and we are all going to college.  I'm leaving Brae with my parents and grandparents.  I know I'm going to miss her so much.

Oh right .... I forgot to introduce you to our dog......  her name is Oreo and she's a full Alaskan Malamute.  She is a great dog and we all love her.

We all still live in my Grandparent's house that they bought when we all first moved here.  I'm sure that will change as soon as we get done with college though ....  scary, not being there.  But there's just too many of us there now.....

Anyway - hope you enjoyed your introduction ....  to our Boyd Clan.
