LEGACY - Oh Baby, Oh Baby ... oh Baby? (Generation 1: part 3)

Time seemed to go by so slow.  Even as I grew bigger.  Quickly grew bigger.  One night when I was making myself some dinner, I heard something outside, so I went out to see what it was, thinking a raccoon was in my garbage again. .
There she was ...... angrier than a hornet in an ants nest...
"HOW COULD YOU DO IT?" she shouted at me.  "HOW COULD YOU SLEEP WITH A MAN?"  Was is just that I slept with a man?  I wondered, but I knew it wasn't.  I asked her to come in and get the show off my front lawn.  Then she noticed I was pregnant and REALLY blew up.
"I DON'T WANT TO BE IN YOUR HOUSE" she shouted.  But she still came in.  She kept saying she didn't want to live with me - over and over to the point where I knew she wanted to live with me.  She just kept saying the same stuff over and over and over until I got so mad.
After I screamed, I told her.  I told her I was sorry and I begged her forgiveness.  We had fought and I was lonely and confused.  I had never felt like this before - with anyone - much less a girl.
I explained to her what happened, all the details, and how I hadn't enjoyed it at all.  I only enjoyed being with her and if it did anything - it strengthened my love for her because now I truly understood I was in love with her.  And the baby wasn't a bad thing, we can't have babies of our own - together - so this was our baby.  Ours.  To raise and love together.
I told her she could move in and keep an eye on me, and she'd never have a doubt about it again.
Then I gave her some flowers ...
She told me that she didn't want to move in with me anymore, and I told her she was lying.  I knew she was hinting at it the whole time.  I told her to stop pretending and own up to her true feelings, and stop playing games with me.
So she admitted it, and gave me some flowers.  She told me she'd move in after all.
 So we kissed and made-up.
When we went into the bedroom, Ally was on the bed, so we had to shoo her off.
Then we really got to making up.
Serenity spent time with the animals, getting to know them and being friendly.  She even taught Ally how to hunt.    Oh right, and in other news, we found out we were having twin GIRLS!!!  TWINS!!!  So we bought two matching cribs.
Serenity liked to dabble in chemistry.   I told her she should go and join a career in the science lab, but she said no, she really wanted to write.  Only, we only had one computer right now and I was mostly using it.
 I got bigger ......and bigger....
And Serenity continued to have issues with the one night stand.  She would just - out of blue - come up and accuse me of cheating on her.  I wasn't - the only time I ever did was that one night stand.
So then I would have to spend time calming her down.  It was exhausting.
But then she'd coo over the baby and pay attention to the belly.
 I swear she's bi-polar.  I don't know if she'll ever truly forgive me.
We continued to hunt for rocks to get cut or smelted ....  it brought in a lot of money for us.  Our first pink diamond and white diamond we kept though.  Keeping them around in case of a money emergency I guess.
One day the stupid sinks had broken and I had to call the repair man, AGAIN.  It seems like everytime I turn around the sinks, or toilet or bath was breaking and shooting water all over ... so after I made that call, I sat down and  I was working on Serenity's life story, which she asked me to write, when the door bell rang and in walked the repair lady.  I got up to greet her and .... Oh my Llama the pain hit!!
I screamed for Serenity - "I'm in labor I'm in labor!!"
And I remembered that story about the hospital being so proud that the patients they saved was statistically higher than the ones who died.... and vowed I would have the babies right there.
The labor lasted for hours but it didn't matter when I held Blessing Rose for the first time.
When I placed her in the crib, my labor pains started again ....
And I welcomed into the world Braelynn Lila ....
After bonding with her, I laid her down in her crib.
But to my absolute shock, contractions started to rip through me again.  Three of them?? Three?  How could that be??
 But it was ....
And we welcomed Braedyn Luke into the world.  Only .... all we had was pink blankets.  Poor baby boy ....
I had to hire babysitters several times, so I could go do some things I had been offered to do for extra money, but it seemed like all they did was complain about the crying.
And everytime something broke down Abby was rolling in the water.
Life is hectic.  Life is rough.  Three babies pulling you three different ways when you can only go one.   But my heart is fuller than my hands are and my babies are truly the loves of my life.  Since they are the only ones I'll ever have, I'm glad I had triplets.   Blessing loves the color pink, Braelynn loves purple, and Braedyn loves blue but likes green too.   Life is going to be interesting - that's for sure.

Tune in for the next installment!
